Art Crawl In NoDa Area Of Charlotte

Try something a little bit different instead of the usual Friday night fun. Go to the Charlotte's trendy neighborhood of NoDa for the arts crawl and take in a little culture along with dinner and drinks. The arts crawl is this Friday night June 18 and continues throughout the year.

The NoDa Arts Crawl takes place every first and third Friday night starting at about 6 p.m. and ends at 9:30 p.m. Go in any direction from where 36th Street and North Davidson cross on another and you'll find plenty of arty fun. Parking on the street is free and costs $3 at the Neighborhood Theater parking lot.

Similar to a bar crawl, the NoDa Arts Crawl isn't an organized tour. Admission to the galleries are free and you'll find their doors wide open. Check out the galleries like Beet, The Evening Muse and Dialect Art Gallery. Grab a bite to eat at one of many restaurants such as Revolution, Cabo Fish Taco or the Crepe Cellar.

If drinking is what you'd rather be doing than go to the Dog Bar and bring your canine friend with you. Or have a sip of something at The Sanctuary or the Smelly Cat Coffeehouse. Catch some music or performance art at the Neighborhood Theater or Wine Up or shop for something different at The Boulevard of NoDa.

There's plenty to do and see in NoDa during the day but why not take the time to visit this artsy neighborhood. Often you don't have to wait for the NoDa Arts Crawl since there seems to be something going on somewhere in cool Charlotte neighborhood.

Check out NoDa.org for more information about the arts crawl or for a map of the area.
