Does Having An Experienced Realtor Help In Selling Your Home?
A lot of people think that it does not matter if you have been in the Real Estate business for a few weeks or a few years when it comes to helping them sell a home. We all have access to the same information and with that information we all can do the same thing....
Well I agree to a point on that I do not totally agree with that premise. I think someone with sales experience and negotiation experience can offer a better value than someone who is making a career change or fresh out of school. For a long time I have contended that experience pays off when it comes to selling a home. An experienced Realtor has been through the trial and errors to make it a successful business and thus knows how to get homes sold.....
Well I was given a copy of an article from the Wall Street Journal this week that helped support the premise that experience makes a difference. And that difference can be a substantial amount of money when you look at the overall picture of selling a home.
In this recent study it found that experienced agents sold homes for an average of 12% more than their less experienced counterparts. The more experience you have also plays into the fact that you will list more homes, sell them at a higher profit and for a shorter period of time than someone with no experience.
An experienced Realtor will sell homes 32% faster than non-experienced Realtors and are 1.6 times more likely to successfully sell a listed home. Ironically these are based on the fact that both experienced and rookie agent’s average list price for the areas were comparable and showed no significant difference.
When you are looking to sell your home you should ask how long they have been in the business and what their sale price and time on the market are. These are all factors in getting a home sold and not sold.

New Listing: 15916 Fairfield Drive Matthews, NC. 28104
Looking for a great house in a highly desirable neighborhood with amenities second to none and top rated schools? Look no further. This house at 15916 Fairfield Drive in Matthews, NC. is the one. Priced at only $139,900 you will not beleive the pride of ownership that shows throughout the house. This three bedroom two and half bath home has many new updates done to it. Located on a partially wooded .26 acre lot this house gives you a lot of home for the money....
Walking into the entrance you instantly will notice the beautiful laminate wood flooring that cover the living room, dining room and kitchen area of the open main level. One of the first things I noticed was the openness and flow of the house. The rooms are all very good sized on the main level and plenty of windows bring in a lot of beautiful natural light.
When you enter the kitchen one of the first things you will notice is the beautiful custom tile countertops located on throughout the kitchen. They are accented with recently refinished cabinets that provide a lot of storage space.
Take a few steps up the stairs and you enter the area of the three bedrooms. All three bedrooms have laminate wood flooring and fresh paint throughout. The rooms are all adequately sized to comfortably let your family grow into the house. The master bathroom has been recently remodeled with a new vanity and toilet as well as custom tile work around the tub/shower area.
The second full bath has been recently added to the house as well. By recently I am talking within days of me writing this. Beautiful tile work on the floor and a fiberglass tub/shower combo was added.
The lower level of the house features the den/family room. This part of the house has brand new carpeting installed in it and a very nice brick fireplace accents the room as well. A great place for the kids to play or just hang out and watch TV. It opens to the covered patio off the back...
Speaking of off the back. This has a great back yard. One side is partially fenced in and the rest of the yard is partially wooded. The yard is great for families with plenty of space for entertaining and playing.
The house is also conveniently located one block from the great amenities that Fairfield Plantation has to offer. With the only swimming pool in Union county subdivision with a diving board to the great open play area for kids to play Frisbee or football, to the updated paly ground, basketball court and tennis courts…
Families move here all the time because of the great location and convenience to 485 and award winning schools. Come see why Fairfield Plantation is such a popular destination among home buyers today.

Charlotte, NC. Among Top Destinations For People Moving In
Charlotte, NC. has always been a great destination for people moving to places....It has a great location tucked a couple hours from the mountains and a few hours from some of the most popular beaches in the South. Its location was one of the reasons we chose Charlotte, NC. to move to versus some other parts of the country.
In addition Charlotte is the second largest banking capital in the United States behind New York City. A small fact that not many people know about. But we are also home to Duke Energy the largest energy provider in the country and many fortune 500 companies.... The diversity of jobs from the banking sector to energy and service jobs has always kept Charlotte somewhat immune from drastic swings in unemployment like other large cities that rely on one or two major business types to survive.
Third, the weather is great and has been a key factor for [people moving here form the North or west. We rarely see snow and the weather for the most part is mild Year round with the enjoyment of really three full seasons and a little winter.
Fourth, the education system in the Charlotte area is great. With some of the top rated High Schools in the country and numerous universities in the Charlotte area. Having four children in the school system ranging from elementary school through High School I can attest to the quality of education my children have and are receiving from the public schools.
Last, the cost of living and the various activities available in Charlotte make it a very attractive city to live. Home prices and taxes are substantially less than the North and there are various performing arts theaters and museums. Also, we are home to the only professional football team in the state (Carolina Panthers), NBA team ( Charlotte Hornets), and minor league hockey team (Charlotte checkers) and next year home to the triple A affiliate of the Chicago White Sox. Not to mention we house the Nascar hall of fame and Lowes motor speedway. So, whether you are into the sports or the museums or nature Charlotte has a wide variety of attractions to appeal to a wide range of people's taste.
Now according to United Van Lines more people are realizing these great things that Charlotte, NC. has to offer since we were ranked 12th in the United States for more people moving into Charlotte, NC. than leaving the area among large metro areas. A good sign for Charlotte.
I chose Charlotte as my destination eight years ago for a variety of reasons including the above...If you are interested in moving to Charlotte, NC. and would like to learn more about the area and why more and more people are choosing it as their destination feel free to either e-mail or call me.
